Model Home
Description - Model Home is an urban performative intervention situated in downtown San Diego, anchored by a large construction crane hoisting a brightly colored, archetypal house, high up in the air. At once incongruous and familiar, the performative installation reflects the shifting infrastructure of a changing city, and asks, what makes a home?
Stop by any time between 11 a.m. – 7pm. A 5-minute “crane ballet” will take place around 11am, 12:45pm, 3:30pm and 6:50pm.
